Fall in Puppy Love with our ALAA Australian Labradoodles

Scarlet's Past Litters

Litter 1 - Catskill Scarlet X Barksdale Red Wizard

Scarlet's first litter was TEN puppies!  Scarlet herself was red when she was a puppy, but faded to gold as she got older.  When bred to Ozzie. . . well . . .just look!  Red and apricot puppies everywhere!  We enlisted the help of my sister for names for this litter; all are named after red wines who have similar hues as the puppies.  John and I couldn't come up with ten of them on our own!!  Puppies from this litter are: Zinfandel, Malbec, Riesling, Grenache, Blush, Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Rose, Beaujolais, and Petite Verdot.  This litter is especially important to us because it is our first second generation litter.  Scarlet was born here!  We are super pleased with the results - gorgeous color, gorgeous silky coats and wonderful temperaments are all how forever owners describe their dogs.

Litter 2 - Catskill Scarlet X Barksdale Red Wizard

Of course, we repeated this breeding!  Ozzie and Scarlet did it again!  Ten more red and apricot puppies. . . only this time . . .they were ALL BOYS!  What are the chances of that?  I keep good track of when puppies are born, and I distinctly remember the feeling when I kept writing down - red boy, red boy, red boy.  I began to doubt my ability to tell male from female. . . and I double checked all the pups . . .yup. . .ALL BOYS!!  We named this litter after NJ shore points.  The Jersey Coast is important to us - John grew up there, I waited tables there every summer putting myself through college, we fell in love there, and John eventually proposed to me on the beach at Cape May Point.  These pups were named: Point Pleasant, Seaside Heights, Cape May, Sandy Hook, Avalon, Asbury Park, Wildwood, Barnegat, Bradley Beach and Tom's River.  These pups showed consistency with the last set, having beautiful red and apricot coats that were silky fleece, loose curls and personalities everyone loves.
