NYS requires we collect tax on the sale of our puppies for all forever families LIVING IN NY STATE. Because you are picking up your puppy in our county, Otsego, the tax rate is 8%.
If you live OUT OF NY STATE and are having your puppy delivered to you, no tax is charged.
If you live OUT OF NY STATE but are picking up your puppy here at our farm in Otsego County, you will need to pay this tax.
